Corn House Café
The Corn House Café is a delightful setting for a relaxed luncheon.
Its cozy interior and views of our pond and sheep pasture are the perfect
backdrop for our delicious homemade food.
Watching the birds “up close and personal” at our window
birdfeeders is always enjoyable –especially in the winter.
On a lovely day there is no more inviting spot to enjoy lunch
than the small deck outside the cafe. It
was mentioned in an article on alfresco dining in the Rochester Democrat
and Chronicle as a spot not to miss in the Canandaigua area.
The regular menu includes homemade soups, quiches, specialty sandwiches
and tempting desserts. Everything, including the breads for
the sandwiches, is made in our kitchen

to sing about
One summer day in 2007 a visitor to the
Finger Lakes joined us for lunch. At the end of his meal Sandy,
our efficient server, asked if he’d like one of our
homemade desserts. As she named some of the choices, her description
of our peanut butter fudge bottom pie
ended with, “It’ll kill you it’s so
good. I give you my word.” That not only made up his
mind, it inspired a song.
Recently John Raymond of Brookfield, Wisconsin returned to
share his Fudge
Bottom Pie Polka- along with another piece of
this delicious pie-with Sandy and the rest of the staff.
